James Griffin,Head of Hosting Strategy, Star

James is responsible for creating, leading and executing the strategy behind Star's hosted services, which include managed hosting, email & collaboration, security and hosted applications. Before joining the team at Star in 2007, he was the Product Development and Marketing Manager at Namesco Limited, an independent ISP and hosting provider.

Whilst at Namesco Limited, James was instrumental in the development and implementation of strategies including the creation of innovative products, and the management of hosting, broadband, email and communications products. James' success also included winning the PC Advisor 2006 "Best Buy" award for a broadband product range.

James started his career at Grafx Digital Technologies as an Apple Mac technician, purchaser and sales consultant before moving onto PC World Business as a Business Sales Advisor. He then took up a position at Fasthosts Internet where he worked for four years in a variety of senior management roles.
