A member of the Institute of Directors and the Project Management Institute, Alex has considerable experience of managing projects with budgets ranging from £20,000 to £200 million, employing formal project methodologies including PRINCE and Perform.
Well known in the industry, Alex has over 20 years of experience in the data centre business and has been involved in the design and project management of over 1million ft2 of data centre space across Europe. Uniquely, Alex has also operated a number of data centres and has a wealth of experience in the challenges that face companies in operating data centres after the project team have moved on.
Alex is regularly invited to speak on key data centre and IT issues and his commentary on the industry’s development has been featured in The Financial Times, The Guardian, by the BBC and in numerous technical publications.
