Grant has over 20 years experience in the software industry, from developing and managing development organisation, product management, sales and marketing.

His recent experience includes Managing Director EMEA at Visual Network Design (Rackwise), Managing Director EMEA at Network Harmoni (now IBM), Director of Product Management at Micromuse and Sterling Software (now CA).

Grant has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Sydney

Session Synopsis

As demands for cost reductions continue across all departments in nearly all industries, IT is not immune from these cuts and they must continue to deliver to the business.

Including managing all current services and roll any new services with reduces resources whilst at the same time reducing cost. Within the data centre, the ability to make more with less is paramount, to continue to offer expanded services without increasing spend, or even reducing spend requires a sophisticated management and capacity planning tools.
